Styled Three Ways

I got such a great response on my last post where I styled a swing dress three different ways – so I decided to do it again! This time with an adorable stripe dress with a little cut out in the front. Went casual for all three ways, but I think these are styles everyone can do at home with things you already have in your closet!

Most of you probably already do this without knowing! You have one shirt that is your favorite.. you wear it with jeans, or a skirt, shorts or maybe under some cute overalls. Without thinking about it you’re styling one item many different ways to get several different looks out of one piece. This is what I love about fashion! So may options to make one simple item look so different that people wont ever notice you’re repeating!

  1. The first look, I took an adorable summer sweater and wore it over the dress. I tied it with a simple knot in the front off to the side. This makes the dress look like it’s a skirt with a top as opposed to one piece. You can do this with a sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt, etc to get this same look. I paired it with my favorite gladiator sandals that have a little bling on them to give this look a little more sass. All the pieces will be linked below at the end of this post!

2. The second look is just letting the dress stand on it’s own. This short sleeve dress is literally so cute on it’s own, all you really need is a fun pair of heels or wedges and you’re ready to go! The knot in the front is such a cute detail. Tie it more loose or tighter depending on how much skin you want to show! Wore a simple gold hoop earring and the same bag in each photo! I’m wearing an x-small in the dress. would prefer a small but this fits well and I will make sure to let it air dry after washing.

3. Third look is just a classic pair of sneakers with a jean jacket! I love these Converse shoes. They are the slip on version and are so easy to get on and off because you don’t have to fuss with laces. They really comfortable and i can walk around in them for hours. Jean jackets – yes they are a thing again and you can find so many great ones at any store. The one I’m wearing is linked below.
